THIS ROLE

This role is to build our HR team, based in Shanghai, with a future growth path into company management. This person would report to Greg and Shufen, the founders of R3, along with Sabrina Lee, the China MD.

JOB SCOPE

Play a key role in setting and managing R3’s Human Resources function:   

  • Work with management to set the structure
  • Support biannual evaluation projects
  • Oversee the welfare of 40+ people in Shanghai and Beijing
  • Drive a new discipline and approach for our teams
  • Attract new talents to R3
  • Help us better manage the talent we have

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and HR, and around 5-15 years of working experience.  They cannot be new to China, they must know this market, people and working approach.  It’s crucial the candidate has a business driven mindset and is effectively bilingual.  Some education or work experience outside of China will be an asset.

Applicants should be native Chinese speakers with good English, a pro-active attitude and the ability to work independently while being an effective team player.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

Based in Shanghai and flexible for domestic business travels upon requirement.

Every week, we have a Sharing Session across different teams in China.

Every month, our whole China team does something fun together for an evening.

Every three months, we agree and align three things we want each individual to do for the following three months – and in turn, three things that R3 will do for that person.

R3 conducts detailed six monthly 360 degrees evaluations and reviews compensation and bonus according to both the company and individual performance. 

Every year, our whole team does something fun together for three days – past trips include Hanoi, Bangkok and Taipei.

Every three, six and nine years of service, we have specific rewards for those who stay with us.
