Greg is President, Global Growth at MediaSense and the Co-founder of R3, based in our New York office. He established R3 as a globally minded independent marketing consulting firm in 2002, after seeing the need for CMOs to have a trusted advisor and counselor in areas of marketing transformation, effectiveness and efficiency.
Prior to establishing R3, Greg held senior executive roles in agencies in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Originally from Australia, Greg has helped build a new breed of best practice and measurement tools and processes to help marketers improve performance.
The author of three books on marketing, his most recent Global CMO: Best Practice in Best Practice in Marketing Effectiveness & Efficiency Around the World, Greg’s insight and industry knowledge can be found in publications like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, Business Insider, Advertising Age and Adweek.
Dave Edwards
EVP, Global Growth
A graduate of the State University of New York, Dave started his career in Agency Account Management with roles at Ogilvy, MRM and other agencies. It was his move to digital agency R/GA in 2005 where his career truly blossomed. Promoted to a Business Development role in 2012, Dave oversaw one of the most successful agency growth phases in the industry, helping R/GA become a global powerhouse and recognized leader in the industry when it comes to Digital Transformation.
Sarah Tan
EVP, Delivery
Sarah oversees R3’s consulting operations in her role as EVP, Delivery, and manages our in-house marketing team globally. She has spent almost two decades building C-suite and brand reputations, developing and executing marketing strategy, and establishing internal frameworks that improve overall business performance for companies in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. Over her career, Sarah has helped CEOs, CMOs, and CFOs identify core messaging and convey complex information to key stakeholders in engaging ways. Some brands she has delivered to include Google, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Toyota, Gucci, Estée Lauder, and Starbucks. Sarah is adept at editorial, strategic communications and public relations, design, and production. She has worked in engineering, publishing, food, and travel, and is a published writer and photographer.
Lana Tobengauz
Senior Consultant
Lana brings over 20 years’ experience in integrated media strategy, cross-channel investment, and performance marketing. Prior to R3, she held several leadership roles at top media agencies within Omnicom, WPP, and Publicis working with Global and US clients such as American Express, BMS, Capital One, and Audible, an Amazon Company. Lana has the unique ability to ‘think big –and small’ – to see the major business challenges and also dig into the details to make solutions a reality.
Kate Byren
Senior Consultant
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Kate is a global media and marketing leader with over 13 years of experience. She has a strong background in client management, strategic planning, and operational problem-solving across brand and performance campaigns. Kate has a passion for bringing digital innovation and data-driven solutions to the brands she’s worked on. At R3, Kate has a wide variety of experience focusing primarily on Agency Model and Agency Review projects, as well as bespoke digital and media projects. She’s worked across many verticals including finance, pharmaceuticals, CPG, FCMG, beauty, and tech across brands like Sony, Eli Lilly, McDonald’s, Kellanova, Colgate, Ally, Mastercard, L’Oréal, and Estée Lauder. Kate has a passion for driving meaningful change within our clients’ evolving marketing organizations and bringing her many years of agency experience to designing solutions. Prior to joining R3, Kate worked on brands such as Google, Diageo, Delta, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Elizabeth Arden at media agencies like Essence, PHD, and Assembly.
Moya Fry
Senior Consultant
Moya is a Senior Consultant based in R3’s New York office. With over 16 years of experience, she is responsible for marketing transformation. Clients rely on her for sound advice and expertise when it comes to evolving agency models, improving partner relationships, fit-for-purpose organizational design, insightful benchmarking, and thorough agency reviews. Her background at creative agencies means she is keen to dive into brand strategy and can advise on content production models including in emerging technology such as AI and Influencers. Moya has a passion for operational excellence and takes pride in working quickly to meet client expectations. She is also a mentor to her team members, establishing training programs and sharing guidelines to encourage growth for new staff. While Moya has worked in almost all categories across CPG, Finance, Digital, Retail, and Healthcare, her passion will always be in technology – her family calls her their “CTO”.
Guillermo Girola
Lead Analyst
Guillermo is a Lead Analyst based in R3’s New York office. His 30-year career started in advertising agencies, from Consumer Insights Manager in DDB, to Regional Account Director in JWT/Mindshare managing several accounts for Unilever. Guillermo later moved in-house and was Head of Corporate Communications for Latin America at Citigroup, and Senior Business Leader for Affinities and Sponsors at Zurich Insurance. Most recently, he was Lead Analyst at Cortex Consulting Group, where he developed the global digital media benchmarking practice and created multiple benchmarking and analytics methodologies for global advertisers.
Emily Levine
Senior Consultant
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Emily brings over 9 years of marketing expertise with extensive experience in leading global, integrated advertising accounts. Her agency experience includes TBWAChiatDay NY and Ogilvy & Mather on accounts such as adidas, Accenture, NASCAR and Coca-Cola where her passion for building brands and driving business through storytelling and creativity were honed.
Annie Langley

Annie is a Senior Analyst at R3, based in the New York office. A global media and marketing specialist, Annie has over 10 years of experience working across a range of clients including Colgate, LVMH, L’Oreal, and Apple, within the UK/EMEA and US market. Annie is an experienced media analyst and marketing consultant with extensive knowledge in the CPG, Sports, & FinTech categories. Being a leader in both media analytics and consulting, she brings a unique set of skills when tackling marketing challenges with clients, and strives to drive meaningful change for every brand she works with. Annie is a passionate problem solver and expert at client servicing; with a particular interest in Brand & Media strategy and the power of storytelling within the consumer journey.
Vickie Yip

Born in Hong Kong and educated in the U.S., Vickie is a marketing and advertising veteran with over 20 years of experience in 14 markets across Asia Pacific. Her core expertise in marketing efficiency, growth strategy, workflow process and change management comes from having built and operated a regional outsourced marketing operation with 45 FTEs across 9 offices delivering end-to-end solutions to MNCs with complex stakeholder matrix and agency structures. In addition to her practice in marketing and communications, Vickie is trained in design thinking and business model prototyping by IDEO, and recently received certification in strategic conflict resolution and mediation.

Hui joined R3 in 2008 from J&J Australia, where she served seven years in various marketing roles. Prior to J&J, she had four years brand marketing experience at Pfizer. She brings a unique understanding of the needs of multinational clients and best practice in process management and agency management.

Jovyne Chua

Jovyne has over 7 years of experience cutting across client, agency and consulting spaces. Her experience is focused on digital marketing, working with global brands spanning categories such as beauty, consumer technology, CPG, lifestyle, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, technology services, and travel and hospitality. She helps clients drive value in areas such as digital media audits, strategic benchmarking, marketing technology consulting and Agency Reviews. Having previously been based in both Singapore and London, Jovyne has worked with global, regional and local teams from L’Oréal, Sony, Nestle, Mastercard, Hilton, Amgen and many others.
Paul Riccio

Paul brings a unique background to his position at the firm, as a graduate of the George Washington University with degrees in both business (BBA) and political science, as well as professional experience in government, consulting, and media. Prior to joining R3, Paul worked in the United States House of Representatives, the Albright Stonebridge Group, and OMD, where he spent several years as a Global Strategist serving clients in luxury automotive. Paul is extremely passionate about problem-solving and is most regarded for using his technical expertise in data, analytics, and visualization; in order to provide clients with in-depth analysis that answers complex questions, and strategic insights to guide key decisions.

Emily is a Consultant at R3 New York. She joined us from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Political Science and History, and has experience as a paralegal and rotational analyst. Beyond textbooks and lectures, her interests on campus extended to environmentalism and alternative energy solutions. Emily grew up just outside of New York City in Westchester, NY, but home with family is Southern Florida. Off duty, she loves to cook, watch stand up comedy, and make pottery.
