MediaCom, part of WPP, has been on a streak lately with recent wins including Mars, Hilton (both global) and Sony (U.S.). R3 estimates new business win revenue for the agency through the first three quarters of the year of $227 million. One recent loss is GSK Asia Pacific.
Interpublic’s Initiative is second-ranked on R3’s media agency pitch list with estimated win revenues of $79 million. Recent wins include Office Works (Australia) and Canada Goose (global). And a recent loss is Pandora Italy.
Omnicom’s Hearts & Science, which recently chalked up the WarnerMedia U.S. assignment, is ranked third. Win revenues through the first nine months are $84 million.
Rounding out the top five are Havas Media (recent win, Papa John’s) and OMD (recent win, McDonald’s China).
On the creative agency side, top-ranked Publicis recently won Nike (China) and Nestle in the U.S., while losing Home Depot in Canada. Estimated win revenue is $180 million.
Sibling agency Leo Burnett is ranked second, having recently won Buick China, followed by McCann Worldgroup, BBDO and J. Walter Thompson.
