Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is on the hunt for a full-service integrated agency or a consortium of agencies to fulfil duties comprising creative, content and media planning and buying. The appointment is for a period of two years with the option to extend for another.
This is in a bid to promote the university among the youth target audience, as well as the academic and research stakeholders. The incumbents are Goodfellas and Zenith, and the tender process is managed by R3 Worldwide. Agencies can participate in the pitch as a network, one-stop-shops or form a consortium, and are encouraged to email [email protected].
Corinna Choong, SUTD’s senior director, office of marketing and communications, said it is looking for long-term marketing partners with primarily strong youth marketing, plus academic and research stakeholders’ communication expertise.
“Agencies with the creative ability to engage audiences through social media and content, in addition to ATL and BTL advertising, to drive our university outcomes, are most welcomed,” Choong added.
Shufen Goh, R3’s co-founder and principal, said SUTD has several unique propositions such as its efforts to build gender diversity and achieve 40% female undergraduate students for every year’s intake.
“Its curriculum was designed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology which enables engineers and architects to design solutions for real world challenges. We are excited to work with SUTD to identify the best partners for their needs,” Goh said.
