The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a lead government agency, has chosen the New York-based creative agency Doremus to head up its efforts to market Singapore as a premier business location for U.S.-based companies.
The EDB signed a three-year contract, with the option to extend two more years, this past week after a rigorous campaign by the agency. Doremus was chosen, in part, because of its data-driven approach to engaging sought after senior management across industries.
Doremus will work in partnership with Ketchum, a leading global communications firm. Global marketing consultancy R3 Worldwide led the process from start to finish.
“Singapore has been on an incredible journey over the last 50 years. There are few countries with such a great story to tell and at the forefront of innovation in commerce today. Simply put, who wouldn’t want to help build Singapore’s brand in partnership with our colleagues from Ketchum and the talented team at EDB,” said Matt Broom, managing director, Doremus New York.
Doremus is a full-service, global B2B specialist marketing company whose ‘Business of the Brand’ model focuses on a business-first, customer-centric and data-driven approach to marketing.
“In Doremus, we found both the capabilities and the cultural fit. Using data and insights, they inspired us with a creative approach to engaging the C-level audience,” said Myrna Poon, executive director marketing and communications, Singapore EDB.
