Dulux, the paint brand owned by AkzoNobel, is reviewing its ad account across a number of key markets

Dulux: BBH London created ‘colour prohibition’ in 2014

Bartle Bogle Hegarty London won Dulux’s global account in 2011 and will continue to work on the brand’s advertising in the UK, while its Shanghai and Singapore offices will also continue to work on the account in Asia. However, the London office resigned the business earlier this year in all other markets.

R3 is running the review, which is being led out of AkzoNobel’s Amsterdam headquarters.

The key markets being reviewed are Europe and Latin America, with Brazil seen as a critical market for the brand.

MediaCom handles AkzoNobel’s global media for all its brands and is unaffected by the review.

AkzoNobel could not be immediately reached for comment.
