We are recruiting for a full-time Consultant or Associate Consultant to work with us in New York.

R3 is a uniquely global firm that drives greater marketing effectiveness and efficiency for our clients. Our company was founded in 2002 on three “Rs”: Return on Agencies, Return on Media, and Return on Investment. Whereas a CEO has access to independent best practices from McKinsey, Bain or BCG, and a CFO has access to KPMG or EY, a CMO has no such independent partner. We aim to fill that gap. R3 is now 100 people strong, with offices in New York, London, Singapore, Jakarta, Shanghai, and Beijing.

The Role

This is junior-to-mid level role focused on supporting R3’s Media discipline with presentation creation, client service and partner communications, research & insight generation, and data analysis among other key tasks. Candidates with interest in developing a career in Media Strategy, Media Activation, AdTech/MarTech, and Data & Analytics are encouraged to apply.

All Consultants / Associate Consultants are guided by Senior Consultants and Principals.

R3 operates a hybrid office in Manhattan with a three day-a-week in-office policy. In-office days will be allocated and agreed upon joining but are primarily concentrated Tuesday – Thursday.

The job scope is as follows:

  • Presentation creation: Including but not limited to, storytelling, visualization, persuasion, and analysis. You will play a vital role in creating and presenting R3’s work to client stakeholders of all levels.
  • Client and partner communications: You will be a key liaison with our clients and their current and prospective agency and platform partners. You will own these relationships and be the voice of R3.
  • Strategic insights & advice: You’ll help consult some of the world’s best brands on ways they can drive meaningful transformation and growth of their business.
  • Research & analysis: By way of platforms and desk research, you will stay on top of global media and marketing trends and uncover the key insights to help solve complex client challenges.
  • Project ownership: You will help oversee the execution of all projects from brief to wrap up. This will include establishing timelines, ensuring timely delivery, and stewarding project success from end to end.

The Ideal Candidate

    • 3+ years of media agency, marketer, platform, publisher, or relevant experience
    • Elite proficiency in PowerPoint; advanced proficiency in Word and Excel
    • Great people skills, genuinely enjoys communicating, client service mindset, and a positive attitude.
    • Ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-service oriented environment. Maintains a self-starter attitude without fear of taking big swings.
    • Digitally native and has hands-on experience with digital media planning, activation, optimization, or analysis.
    • A strong understanding of linear channels and the full media ecosystem.
    • Working knowledge of AdTech/MarTech and advanced media principles (e.g. – MMM and MTA).
    • A passion for media, a solid understanding of the global agency landscape, and a desire to help brands transform their marketing and media organizations and capabilities.
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
    • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting.
    • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels and/or years of experience in an organization and thinks of team before self.
    • An inquisitive nature and approaches all tasks with curiosity and enthusiasm.
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
